The only florentine mandocello ever made by Vanden.

Built in 1987 to similar high spec as the mandola, although with more red in the sunburst and slight differences in inlay.

The headstock was broken off in 1988 in an on-stage accident. It now has an imperceptible repair and a newly acquired volute thanks to repairman Bill Puplett of Harrow.
