The
Working Party is the brainchild of musician and film music
editor/composer Martin Bell.The idea was to assemble a 'supergroup' of
some of the most highly regarded folk instrumentalists in the United
Kingdom and produce an interactive music DVD to help aspiring musicians
to master their instruments.
Maartin Allcock (guitars), Troy Donockley (Uillean
pipes, whistles), Chris Leslie (fiddle), Simon Mayor (mandolin) and
Chris Parkinson (piano accordian) spent three days shooting the DVD
followed by a one off concert at The Mill Arts Centre, Banbury,
Oxfordshire on the 22nd of September 2005.
